How to book the skills test
In Florida the CDL skills test is given by state-certified third-party testers (FLHSMV publishes the list with each tester's fees and whether they supply a truck) and at the limited number of FLHSMV and county tax collector offices that offer CDL testing; call the office first, since most driver license offices do not give the skills test. Knowledge tests and the CLP are handled at any tax collector or FLHSMV service center. Bring your CLP, medical certificate, and a vehicle for the class you want unless the tester provides one.
