These terms are the agreement between you and BeginCDL.com ("we", "us") for using this website and the study material sold on it. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them. Please read them; they are written to be understood.
What you are buying
We sell access to digital study material for the commercial driver license knowledge tests: study guides, quick reviews, question and answer reviews, practice quizzes, and narrated audio. It is study material. It is not the official test, it is not affiliated with any state licensing agency, and it does not replace the official CDL manual for your state.
Access period
Each purchase gives you access to the material you bought for 120 days from the date of purchase. After that, access ends unless you buy again. The end date is shown on your receipt and in your account.
Your account
- You must give accurate information when you register and keep your email address current so we can reach you.
- Your account is personal. Do not share your password or let other people use your access. We may suspend accounts that appear to be shared.
- You are responsible for keeping your password private and for anything done through your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
Personal use only
The material is licensed to you for your own personal study. You may not copy, download and redistribute, resell, publish, or share it, or use it to build a competing product. All content, including the questions, explanations, and audio, is our property or used under license, and remains ours.
No guarantee of results
We work hard to keep the material accurate and current with the official CDL manual and federal regulations, but state tests vary and change. We do not guarantee that you will pass any test. Always check your state's current manual and requirements.
Payment and refunds
Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. Payment is taken in full at the time of purchase. Because the material is digital and delivered immediately, all sales are final. The only exception, a duplicate charge, is set out in our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms and which you agree to on the payment page.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available at all times but may take it down briefly for maintenance or updates. If a part of the material is being updated, we will say so on the site, and your access period is not shortened by it.
Things you may not do
- Attempt to access other people's accounts or any part of the site you are not authorized to use.
- Use automated tools to scrape, download, or copy the material.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the site.
- Use the site for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without refund.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from your use of the site or material is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost earnings, missed test dates, or the cost of retaking a test. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], United States, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of that state.
