How to book the skills test
Delaware DMV gives all CDL road tests itself at its four DMV locations (Delaware City, Dover, Georgetown, and Wilmington); there is no third-party testing. Tests are by appointment only, booked by phone with the location or online through MyDMV once you have held your CLP for at least 14 days, and are given every weekday except Wednesday. CDL knowledge tests are walk-in only.
Wait times and timing tips
